About the Role

Halco currently has multiple openings for HVAC Service Technicians to help meet our customers’ needs throughout the Upstate NY area. We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in residential or commercial HVAC or another similar applicable trade. The HVAC Service Technician’s primary function is to successfully inspect, install, repair, and maintain heating and cooling equipment. Typical start time is 7 AM.

Responsibilities

The HVAC Service Technician will:

• Inspect heating and cooling equipment for performance and safety issues.
• Install and configure new HVAC systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot existing HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive services.
• Provide excellent customer service that maintains existing customer base and attracts new clientele.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in residential or commercial HVAC or a similar applicable trade.
• Own hand and cordless tools.
• Be organized, efficient, and punctual.
• Provide customer service that maintains existing customer base and attracts new clientele.
• Valid NY State driver’s license.
• Prepare invoices and collect payment.
• Maintain a clean appearance of both yourself and your company-issued vehicle.

Benefits and Compensation

Pay: $22.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience, skill set, and performance. Additional incentives and commissions are also available.
