Job summary

Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to service residential systems across Illinois and Wisconsin. You will diagnose and troubleshoot, perform quality work, and help customers understand options for efficient comfort.

Join a team investing in training and equipment, with a Monday–Friday start at 7:00 AM and a rotating on-call schedule. Earn $20.00-$40.00/hour plus performance incentives based on experience and results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HVAC experience with a willingness to learn for entry-level consideration.
• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional, customer-focused communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history.
• EPA Type II certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality service work while minimizing callbacks.

Base Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience

Entry-Level Technicians: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experienced Technicians: $26.00-$40.00 per hour

Plus Performance Incentives: Average technicians earn an additional $2.00-$3.00 per hour, while top-performing technicians can earn approximately $5.00 more per hour based on performance.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, with a minimal rotating on-call schedule.
