Job summary

Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar is hiring HVAC Installers to join our residential installation team across Illinois and Wisconsin. Start-up, testing, and commissioning of heating and cooling systems, with emphasis on quality workmanship from the first install.

We offer competitive base pay of $20.00-$45.00 per hour, plus performance incentives of $2.00-$3.00 per hour and up to $5.00 more per hour for top performers.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude may be considered.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain it after starting.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Install residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Start up, test, and commission newly installed systems.
• Follow project scope, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
• Identify and resolve installation issues to help prevent callbacks.
• Maintain quality workmanship and accurate job documentation.

Base Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience

Entry-Level Installers: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experienced Installers: $26.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 AM

Performance Pay: Average installers earn approximately $2.00-$3.00 more per hour through performance incentives, while top-performing installers can earn approximately $5.00 more per hour.

Edelman's installation team works with furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and ductwork, with a strong emphasis on completing installations correctly the first time.
