Job summary

Sunshine Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician Service to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, perform regular inspections, and identify root causes to recommend effective solutions.

• Proven experience as Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for residential HVAC systems.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time and workload.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and identify root causes.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and complete service calls efficiently.
• Communicate with customers professionally, explain repair options, and provide recommendations.

About the Role: As an HVAC Technician Service, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems before they escape.
• Install, repair, or replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
• Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.

HVAC Technician Service Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
