Sunshine Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver reliable, customer-focused service in the Belleview or Clermont/Groveland area.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC equipment, maintaining a high standard of workmanship. The role offers strong earning potential: $85,000–$100,000 annually, with an hourly base plus commission, and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work from ladders up to 12 feet.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service mindset.
• Basic HVAC service tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and service a broad range of residential HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot heating and cooling systems to determine the cause of failures.
• Explain system issues and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
• Complete service calls with a high standard of workmanship.
• Document customer interactions, findings, and completed work.
• Keep assigned vehicle stocked with necessary parts.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the Sunshine Air Conditioning team.

Sunshine Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing service role for a technician who can confidently troubleshoot residential heating and cooling equipment, identify the problem, explain the solution, and complete quality repairs.

What You Can Earn

Schedule & Service Area

• Monday-Friday
• Typical start time: 7:30 AM
• Some evening and weekend work as part of our after-hours emergency service
• Residential service throughout the local area
