Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is hiring an HVAC Technician in Alabama. The role involves performing HVAC inspections, diagnosing and repairing issues, and communicating findings and options clearly to customers. You will mentor junior technicians and ensure compliance with safety and code standards.

The position requires EPA certification, an Alabama Journeyman License, and at least two years of HVAC experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA Certified required.
• Alabama Journeyman License
• A minimum of two years’ experience preferred in HVAC service issues.
• Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Create a care culture.
• Provide accurate True Transparency pricing.
• Mentor and develop technicians to achieve performance metrics.
• Perform HVAC inspections including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in writing.
• Coordinate with dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs.
• Prepare detailed finding reports with pictures for customer discussion.
• Present repair options with cost using the options sheet.
• Complete all required documentation on services and collect and deliver fees to office administration.
