Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Sales Technician to provide exceptional customer service in customers’ homes and educate clients on technical and investment decisions by presenting multiple options.

The role offers an hourly pay range of $24–$30 plus competitive compensation on equipment and IAQ product sales, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Excellent communication skills and technical competence.
• Proficient in using Service Titan.
• Ability to perform heat load calculation on homes for proper sizing.

Responsibilities

• Serves clients by servicing and repairing heating and air conditioning systems.
• Explains service and repair work to customers and ensures 100% satisfaction.
• Tests systems after service to ensure proper operation and fix correctness.
• Inspects customer systems to prevent future breakdowns.
• Completes all paperwork and documents recommendations on invoices.
• Explains Club Membership Agreements and maintains conversion/renewal rates.
• Provides customer leads to Sales Lead Coordinator for potential system additions or replacements.
• Adheres to Code of Ethics and Team Policies.

We are looking for an HVAC Sales Technician to provide exceptional customer service and educate customers regarding technical and investment decisions by providing multiple options and solutions while making service calls in customer’s homes.

Responsibilities:

• Serves the clients of the company by expertly servicing and repairing heating and air conditioning systems and components.
• Focuses on technical excellence in order to help live up to the company’s unique proposition of Always On Time…Or You Don’t Pay A Dime! ®.
• Utilizes the Straight Forward Pricing Guide® system, including the True Cost Calculator on each call.
• Assesses systems to determine repair vs. replace recommendations to clients. Explains each service and repair performed to the customer each time a service or repair is completed. Makes sure that the client is 100% satisfied with all work.
• Tests each system after each service or repair is completed prior to leaving the customer’s home to make sure that the system is working properly and that it was fixed right the first time.
• Performs a proper inspection of the customer’s system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Accurately completes all paperwork including. All recommendations are written on invoices.
• Explains Club Membership Agreements to every customer and maintains a conversion rate of at least 25% of non-Club Members and a 90% renewal rate on existing Club Members.
• Provides customer leads to the Sales Lead Coordinator when identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.
• Obeys the One Hour Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.

Qualifications:

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be proficient in using Service Titan
• Must know how to perform heat lead calculation on homes for proper sizing.
