Job summary

HELP seeks a skilled HVAC Service/Sales Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair, and recommend upgrades for residential HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be customer-service focused and work with integrity and accountability to ensure safety and quality in every job.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and communicating options to clients while meeting safety standards and building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical school or HVAC certification preferred).
• EPA certification and Journeyman license are a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerants.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on their indoor air; heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems, and provide replacement options.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, filter replacements, and system tune-ups, when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about system performance, issues, and solutions.
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and document recommendations and repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned jobs efficiently.
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices.
