Johnson Heating and Cooling, Inc. in Franklin, IN is seeking an HVAC Service Manager to lead the service department and drive operational excellence. You will oversee daily operations, coach technicians, and ensure top-notch service and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC service experience, strong leadership, and in-depth knowledge of diagnostics and repair. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, repair procedures, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department.
• Coach and develop HVAC service technicians to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field evaluations, safety inspections, and quality control reviews.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new service technicians while supporting ongoing development.
• Partner with dispatch to optimize technician scheduling, routing, and daily workflow.
• Monitor KPIs including revenue, productivity, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting complex service calls and technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and local HVAC codes.
