Job summary

SoGood Plumbing, Heating, & Air is seeking a strong leader to scale our HVAC service department. You will mentor technicians, coordinate with dispatch, and drive service excellence across metrics and customer outcomes.

You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, establishing standard processes, and ensuring safety and quality in every job. This role offers growth through Nexstar Network programs and company-provided tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop service technicians through ride-alongs and training.
• Oversee daily service operations with dispatch to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.
• Track KPIs: revenue, average ticket size, conversions, and reviews.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and high retention.
• Conduct weekly team meetings, technical reviews, and safety briefings.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard top HVAC talent.

The Big Task

You will lead, mentor, and scale our HVAC service department to deliver exceptional service, hit operational targets, and build a high-performing team of elite service technicians.

Key Sub Tasks

• Lead, coach, and develop service technicians through regular ride-alongs, technical training, and soft-skill development.
• Oversee daily service operations in coordination with dispatch to maximize field efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Track and manage key departmental metrics (KPIs), including revenue goals, average ticket size, conversion rates, and customer review scores.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism, ensuring high client retention and five-star satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly team meetings, technical review sessions, and safety briefings.
• Ensure all truck inventory, equipment, tools, and departmental paperwork meet company standards.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard top-tier HVAC talent to support company growth.
