You will lead a service department, manage a team of technicians, and ensure high workmanship and customer care. The role involves dispatch oversight, coaching, and driving department performance.

Immediate start with a department performance bonus included. Ideal candidates have hands-on HVAC experience, prior leadership in service roles, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential HVAC experience including hands-on service and diagnostics.
• Previous leadership in service/dispatch roles or as a supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, service standards, and safety practices.
• Ability to coach technicians on customer communication and options-based selling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of residential HVAC service and maintenance technicians.
• Run daily dispatch and call flow so the board stays full and trucks stay productive.
• Ride along, coach in the field, and uphold diagnostic and customer communication standards.
• Own department performance including revenue, average ticket, conversion, and membership goals.
• Handle escalated customer issues and protect the company reputation on every call.
• Partner with install, sales, and the call center on service-to-replacement handoffs.
• Track department KPIs, run daily huddles, and report performance to leadership.

Description

A well established residential home services company in the greater Los Angeles area is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead their service department. This is a hands on leadership role responsible for running a team of service technicians, keeping the board full, and holding the department to a high standard of workmanship and customer care. Total compensation ranges from $75,000 to $115,000 per year, including a department performance bonus, and the position is available immediately. Key Responsibilities
