Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a Maintenance and Service Sales Representative to drive growth in the Chicago HVAC service market and expand our service agreements.

This role targets new business with decision-makers, delivers customized maintenance solutions, and partners with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer value.

Experience in HVAC service sales and ability to communicate technical concepts are valued; willingness to travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of progressive sales experience in HVAC, facilities, or related industry.
• Experience selling HVAC service agreements, preventative maintenance programs, or recurring service solutions preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and develops new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Maintains a strong sales pipeline by engaging prospective customers and advancing opportunities.
• Conducts meetings with Facility Directors, Property Managers, Building Owners, and other decision-makers to tailor service solutions.
• Educates customers on the value of proactive HVAC maintenance and long-term service agreements.
• Prepares, presents, negotiates, and closes proposals to win service opportunities.
