Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Project Sales Representative to drive HVAC and mechanical project sales in the Chicago market, including estimating, proposal development, and client relationship management.

You will collaborate with facility owners, maintenance managers, engineers, and other customers to identify needs, prepare estimates and proposals, and coordinate awarded work with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success in HVAC sales or field experience with strong technical proficiency in HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience with HVAC or mechanical project estimating, cost estimating, bids, and proposal development.
• Experience in business development, project sales, or client-facing commercial HVAC/mechanical work.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, including repair, modification, and replacement projects.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound HVAC and mechanical project opportunities and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market.
• Build and maintain relationships with facility owners, maintenance managers, engineers, and other commercial customers.
• Develop business through client outreach, bid opportunities, bid lists, and existing customer relationships.
• Evaluate mechanical systems and components to determine repairs, modifications, replacements, and project requirements.
• Prepare project designs, cost estimates, bids, and formal project proposals for commercial HVAC and mechanical projects.
• Perform estimating responsibilities associated with project sales opportunities.
• Present project solutions and proposals to customers and support opportunities through the sales process.
• Serve as the liaison between customers and project management throughout project turnover and execution.
