Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Manager - HVAC to lead commercial HVAC service operations, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and light retrofit work across a national network. You will supervise service teams, drive customer satisfaction, and deliver profitable results while partnering with senior leadership, dispatch, and field supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HVAC service teams and P&L oversight.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and field teams.
• Solid financial acumen including job costing and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HVAC service operations for the assigned territory or market.
• Supervise Service Foremen, technicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee scheduling, dispatch coordination, and resource allocation.
• Monitor profitability and key service metrics; take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure safety standards, quality expectations, and company policies are followed.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management of service personnel.
• Collaborate with Sales, Dispatch, and Operations to align and grow.
