About This Role

This is a seasoned Service Engineering role requiring independent work. The successful candidate will develop specialized product knowledge, maintain effective communication with customers and field team members, perform complex diagnostics, analyze and interpret test data to resolve design or system issues, and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This remote home office position requires the candidate to be near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with customers and field team members to understand and improve requirements.
• Engage in frequent customer contact, requiring tact and courtesy.
• Develop specialized knowledge of products.
• Perform complex diagnostic procedures.
• Analyze and interpret test data to resolve design/system issues.
• Communicate technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Keep customers and team members informed on issues, and recommend system upgrades or repairs.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or Trade School certification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC systems and equipment service.
• Ability to pass an MVR background check.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% regionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Service Max software.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and training.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
