Job summary

Friends & Family HVAC, located in Canyon Lake, CA, is seeking an experienced HVAC selling technician for an in-person role serving Riverside County and surrounding areas. The position offers hourly pay of $16.90 plus a generous bonus plan, with a strong potential to earn $200,000–$350,000 in the first full year through hourly wages and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, service, and diagnose residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC electrical components, refrigeration systems, airflow, and mechanical operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, including explaining technical findings clearly to homeowners.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting applicable company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to travel throughout Riverside County and surrounding service areas.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and diagnose residential heating and cooling systems (mechanical, electrical, airflow, refrigeration).
• Perform complete Comfort Surveys and Home Analyses.
• Recommend repair, upgrade, or replacement options based on accurate findings.
• Explain findings, efficiency, warranties, and financing clearly and honestly to homeowners.
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals, and follow up on open opportunities.
• Document work and customer records in Housecall Pro.
• Assist with financing applications and collect payments per company procedures.
• Coordinate with dispatch, installation, and management teams.
