Shafer Heating & Cooling, LLC in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our in-home sales team. You will meet homeowners at the point of need, assess systems, present options, and guide customers through the buying process with education rather than pressure.

With leads provided by our service department, you’ll hit monthly revenue targets while delivering excellent customer experiences. Some evenings and weekend availability may be required to meet homeowners.

Qualifications

We're looking for a sharp, people-first HVAC Sales Representative. This is a full-time, in-home sales role where you'll be meeting homeowners at the point of need. You'll be running leads generated by a busy service department, building trust quickly, and helping families make smart decisions about their home comfort systems. No cold calling. No chasing leads. Just great conversations and a strong close rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Run pre-set in-home appointments generated by the service team, with no cold prospecting
• Assess homeowners' HVAC systems, identify the right solution, and present options clearly
• Guide customers through the buying process with education and confidence, not pressure
• Hit monthly revenue targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Keep accurate records of appointments, quotes, and sold jobs in company systems

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven track record in in-home or consultative sales, HVAC, home services, or similar preferred
• Strong communicator who can build rapport quickly and explain technical options in plain language
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a competitive but customer-first mindset
• Comfortable working nights and weekends as needed to meet customer availability
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; you'll be on the road daily
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
