Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Sales Associate to lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies through phone and in-person interactions at our Long Island City/Brooklyn warehouse location. The role includes supporting the internal sales team, pricing competitively, and expanding the customer base.

Qualifications include 2+ years of HVAC or sales experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Benefits include multiple medical plans, 401K with match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies through both phone and in-person customer interactions
• Provide technical support to the internal sales team, including order processing, product and service inquiries, warranty administration, and customer issue resolution
• Research market and competitive pricing data to ensure inventory is priced competitively while maintaining profitability
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the parts sales office to achieve and exceed revenue goals
• Enhance customer policies and procedures by identifying needs and making appropriate exceptions when necessary
• Expand and grow the existing customer base through relationship building and new customer acquisition
• Identify and implement new sales strategies to increase overall office revenue from both existing and prospective customers
• Conduct regular sales calls and customer outreach to drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $30.91 - 50.96 USD Hourly in New Jersey/New York. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
