Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Sales Associate for our Long Island City/Brooklyn warehouse in office. You will lead sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies through both phone and in-person interactions, while supporting the internal sales team with orders, inquiries, warranty administration, and issue resolution.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of HVAC or sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies through phone and in-person interactions.
• Provide technical support to the internal sales team, including order processing, product and service inquiries, warranty administration, and customer issue resolution.
• Research market and competitive pricing data to ensure inventory is priced competitively while maintaining profitability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the parts sales office to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
• Expand and grow the existing customer base through relationship building and new customer acquisition.
• Identify and implement new sales strategies to increase overall office revenue from existing and prospective customers.

Location:

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies through both phone and in-person customer interactions
• Provide technical support to the internal sales team, including order processing, product and service inquiries, warranty administration, and customer issue resolution
• Research market and competitive pricing data to ensure inventory is priced competitively while maintaining profitability
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the parts sales office to achieve and exceed revenue goals
• Enhance customer policies and procedures by identifying needs and making appropriate exceptions when necessary
• Expand and grow the existing customer base through relationship building and new customer acquisition
• Identify and implement new sales strategies to increase overall office revenue from both existing and prospective customers
• Conduct regular sales calls and customer outreach to drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of HVAC and/or sales experience required

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $30.91 - 50.96 USD Hourly in New Jersey/New York. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
