Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer for BrainBox AI, joining a team focused on HVAC software solutions that reduce energy use and emissions. The role combines HVAC engineering knowledge with customer engagement to scope deployments and estimate savings, guiding projects from initial conversations through onboarding.

You will partner with sales teams and clients, present our Software as a Solution, answer technical questions, and lead deployments while building long-lasting customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC project management or estimating roles
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Construction or Engineering Technology preferred
• Experience with CAD and understanding of electrical drawings/schematics preferred

Responsibilities

• Be the SME supporting the sales team from a technical perspective during the sales process
• Present Software as a Solution (SaaS) and respond to technical questions for prospective buyers
• Lead the technical discussion from first contact to successful deployment
• Support the customer during onboarding
• Evaluate prospective sites and develop initial deployment scopes and savings estimates
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Identify emerging markets and shifts while tracking competition and new products
