Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration in Atlanta to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial settings. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Vocational/technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years' mechanical maintenance experience.
Or 4 years' mechanical maintenance experience in commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
Valid state driver license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC/refrigeration systems per codes and specs.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial/industrial systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, walk-ins, and HVAC systems.
Adhere to OSHA and EPA refrigerant handling protocols during service.
Lead and mentor field teams on procedures and safety practices.
Coordinate service calls, manage workload, and document inventory.
Operate company vehicles safely to complete calls within regions.
