Job summary

Walmart in Savannah, GA is seeking a Technician for Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration to install, diagnose, and service commercial systems across multiple facilities. Requires state HVAC/R certification, EPA 608, and strong preventive maintenance skills. You will lead field teams and mentor Apprentices, coordinating with Managers.

You will drive a company vehicle, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure OSHA/compliance while supporting store operations with reliable HVAC/R services.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and experience in mechanical maintenance for commercial HVAC/R.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record as required.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and controls.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and executes repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Mentors technicians and apprentices on safety and procedures.
