Job summary

Brightwing is seeking an experienced HVAC Quick Quote Estimator to deliver fast, accurate estimates for commercial and residential HVAC projects. The role supports sales with timely proposals and requires hands-on HVAC or mechanical construction experience.

The ideal candidate will manage a high volume of quote requests, perform quick assessments, and use established pricing structures and databases to produce competitive quotes while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• 2+ to 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, service, estimating or related mechanical field.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with ability to interpret project information and develop pricing.
• Ability to learn and utilize estimating software and pricing platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Quote Development: prepare accurate HVAC estimates within tight turnaround times.
• Scope Assessment: review building dimensions, equipment photos, and site details to determine requirements.
• Standardized Takeoffs: use pricing structures, tools, matrices, and databases to develop quotes.
• Project Review: evaluate equipment, labor, materials, and mechanical needs for proposed work.
• Customer & Contractor Communication: clarify scope, specs, and pricing with stakeholders.
• Lead Management: respond to inbound quote requests from multiple channels.
• Sales Support: deliver finalized quotes to sales reps for follow-up.
• Quote Tracking: maintain records of active estimates, follow-ups, revisions, and proposals.
• Accuracy & Quality Control: ensure estimates align with project scope and pricing.
