Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to support commercial construction projects by developing accurate estimates, performing takeoffs, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to deliver winning proposals.

This role emphasizes attention to detail and offers opportunities for advancement within a growing organization focused on commercial HVAC systems and specialty air-movement equipment. A potential work-from-home setup may follow onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
• Experience performing HVAC takeoffs and reviewing mechanical plans.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Office, or similar estimating software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review commercial construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform HVAC takeoffs and quantity surveys.
• Prepare detailed estimates, pricing proposals, and bid packages.
• Analyze project schedules and technical documentation.
• Support Outside Sales Engineers during estimating and bidding processes.
• Assist with HVAC equipment and product selection.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities to maximize competitiveness.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and product information.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
