Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, install and maintain HVAC/R systems for commercial clients. You will work with iPads to document service details, travel to customer sites, and ensure high-quality preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years recent HVAC/R field technician experience.
EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
