Job summary

Nextech is seeking a hands-on HVAC/R Technician to service commercial clients. You will diagnose, repair, install and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, while documenting work on iPads and coordinating with dispatch.

You’ll operate a company vehicle, receive a tool allowance, and participate in paid training and education reimbursement. A valid license and EPA certification are required, with on-site field work and occasional after-hours shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC/R field experience.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Journeyman license may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems including electrical and mechanical components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Document service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch for scheduling.
