Job summary

As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance — you’re the expert our customers trust.

You’ll diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, document service details on iPads, maintain your vehicle and tools, and coordinate with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years HVAC/R field technician experience.
• Journeyman's License may be required by state.
• EPA certification and valid driver's license required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Comfort with mobile apps and technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Maintain and perform emergency service including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
