Job summary

Nextech is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to deliver reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance as the trusted expert for our customers.

Your day may include diagnosing HVAC/R systems, documenting details on iPads, keeping the vehicle and tools in top shape, and coordinating with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Journeyman license may be required in some states.
EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read schematics and work plans.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical and electronic components.
Perform maintenance and emergency service; participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
Accurately document service details using company-provided iPads.
Maintain company vehicle, tools and parts inventory to high standards.
Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch for smooth scheduling and service.
Identify additional service opportunities and present them to customers.
