Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to join our field service team and deliver high-quality commercial service. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain systems, documenting details on iPads and coordinating with dispatch for timely visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent HVAC/R field technician experience.
• Journeyman's license may be required in some states; state licenses may be required.
• EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
