Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to deliver reliable, high‑quality service to commercial clients. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance, becoming the expert customers rely on for solutions.

You will be dispatched from home with a company van, receive a sign‑on bonus up to $3,000, seasonal bonuses, tool allowance, paid training, and education reimbursement. Generous time off includes holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC/R field experience.
• Journeyman license may be required in some states.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and work plans.
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Identify additional service opportunities and relay them to customers.
