Job summary

KBR seeks a contingent AFCAP V Japan BOS: SCS Maintenance/HVAC Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems across site facilities in Japan. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and site-wide installations under limited supervision.

Qualifications include 5+ years in HVAC/R, EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain, and DoD secret clearance eligibility. Travel and safety-compliant operations are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 5+ years of HVAC/R experience and DoD-style environment exposure.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Maintain and repair commercial kitchen hood and duct exhaust systems.
• Operate and sustain site mechanicals and equipment including power generators and doors/windows.
