Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced HVACR Mechanic, Supervisor to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems at an on-site location. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage safety, budgets, and timelines across critical projects.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with project teams, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering reliable HVAC solutions for demanding missions.

Qualifications

• SECRET clearance with upgrade eligibility for TS/SCI.
• HVAC/R mechanic certification valid in CONUS.
• Universal CFC refrigerant handling license (Section 608).
• 8+ years HVACR experience; 2+ years in lead/supervisory role.
• Read blueprints and perform material take-offs.
• Knowledge of safety codes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and procurement deliverables.
• Lead creation of organizational structures for HVAC services.
• Oversee HVAC service execution to meet contract requirements and budgets.
• Evaluate progress, advise on status, risks, and cost drivers.
• Oversee safety orientations and coaching for the crew.
• Monitor crew organization and wage compliance.
• Develop resource plans to meet project needs.
• Maintain quality control of installations and repairs.
• Facilitate clear team communication with stakeholders.
• Identify improvement opportunities to boost efficiency.
