Job summary

Hussmann is seeking an experienced HVAC-R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will perform prescribed maintenance with minimal supervision and work with master/lead technicians.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC-R schooling, EPA 608 Certification, and 5 years field experience (or 3 if certified). Night/weekend work and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC-R schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Minimum experience: 5 years in the field or 3 years with a technical school cert.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace components under supervision as needed.
• Detect leaks, service compressors, and ensure system efficiency.
• Complete tickets and invoicing with accurate documentation.
