CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech 3 – Refrigeration to troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems in Knoxville. You will mentor junior technicians, ensure safe and reliable operation, and work across diverse client sites.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/refrigeration, an EPA certificate, and a valid driver’s license. Expect opportunities for growth within CoolSys’ widespread service network and a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical is required.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in supermarkets or convenience stores is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair refrigeration systems for commercial/industrial clients.
• Report to work as scheduled by supervisor and maintain service records.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure efficiency.
• Operate and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams; set up safety controls and temperature regulation.
