Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech2 Refrigeration to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems. You will handle complex technical issues, guide junior technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operation for our diverse clients.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, EPA certification, and 0–2 years in HVAC/refrigeration. You’ll work across various sites with rigorous safety standards and opportunities for advancement within CoolSys’s growing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass Tech Skills level 2 with 80% or better.
• Valid EPA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Provide preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions and efficiency.
• Assist with startups of new installations and minor construction/remodeling work.
