Job summary

Walmart is seeking an HVAC/R technician in Tucson, AZ, to perform maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks on HVAC/R systems across multiple facilities. You will follow safety policies, use data and resources to set priorities, and collaborate with management and partners to address improvement opportunities.

Under supervision, you will complete required paperwork, assist with cost control, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations.

Qualifications

Hold and maintain Universal or EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR).
Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
Commercial driving record with no major convictions in recent years.

Responsibilities

Experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related area for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Prior work reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
