Job summary

Family Dollar Chesapeake is seeking a seasoned Program/Project Manager to oversee HVAC/R capital replacement programs and BMS projects at the Store Support Center. You will collaborate with Finance, FM leadership, and OEMs to drive capital initiatives with a focus on cost efficiency and minimal operational impact.

The role requires strong data skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a multi-location retail real estate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, facilities management, construction management, or related fields.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Data oriented and can interpret and synthesize data into information that will inform business decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of basic construction practices related to HVAC/R installation; coordination with trades and site readiness.

Responsibilities

• Utilize work order and financial data to develop annual and rolling five-year CapEx plans with Finance and FM leadership.
• Manage relationships with HVAC/R, and BMS/EMS OEMs for equipment evaluations, specifications, pricing, etc.
• Manage relationships with all installation service providers.
• Execute HVAC/R/BMS capital programs with OEMs, service providers, and Operations for timely, cost-effective installations.
• Schedule all capital projects to minimize impact to operations.
• Monthly and ad hoc capital reporting.
• Communicate project schedules with all impacted stakeholders.
• Create and manage all projects in Lucernex.
