Job summary

Digital Realty's Project Facilitator, Capital Projects Engineer sits on the site-level Data Center Operations team and reports to the Capital Manager. You will manage capital improvement projects and vendors, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while coordinating with operations to upgrade critical equipment in our mission-critical facilities.

This is a technical, fast-paced role requiring strong communication, HVAC, electrical knowledge, and experience with data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of project and vendor management experience.
• Data Center knowledge and experience.
• AA/AS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Procore project management and CMMS is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop Scope of Work, project schedule, and Critical Path.
• Upgrade/building infrastructure systems.
• Prepare and issue RFPs from contractors.
• Collect Change Management Forms and MOPs.
• Schedule capital projects with vendors.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Perform QA inspections on projects.
• Mentor Capital Project team members.
• Manage vendors for best price/quality.
