Job summary

Ferguson is hiring an HVAC Quotations Manager to lead our Commercial quotes team in the HVAC division. This on-site role can be based in SC, NC, GA, or FL, overseeing 6 direct reports and reporting to the Senior Director - Customer Groups.

Responsibilities include supervising bid invitations, negotiating with vendors, preparing bid packages, and maintaining accurate pricing records. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quotation development, strong leadership, and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of RQC process and SOPs.
• 3–5 years' experience in quotation development is preferred.
• Proficiency with Bidtracer and PlanSwift tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and distributes highly technical bid invitations and analyzes quotes.
• Facilitates negotiations with vendors for special terms and pricing.
• Executes bid packages including BOM, bid scheduling, cost and pricing, submittals and order entry.
• Writes accurate job pricing records ensuring lump-sum cost and customer price accuracy.
• Maintains file organization and supports project task boards.
• Adheres to safety policies and maintains reliable attendance.
