Elmer's Home Services is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent for HVAC in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on procuring HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-efficiency across our service areas in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.

You will manage vendor relationships, prepare POs, and monitor shipments while maintaining inventory levels to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement in HVAC.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and parts.
• Excel Intermediate.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Interaction with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate purchasing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure HVAC parts and equipment from approved vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in procurement processes.
• Address and resolve any issues with suppliers related to delays, defective materials, or discrepancies.
• Update report on a daily basis.
