Job description

This is a consultative project sales position with compensation awards including base salary, commissions, incentive bonus program, and annual vacation trip award, plus benefits including auto, gas card, technology, and sales and marketing support.

Responsibilities
  • The primary responsibility for this position is to sell commercial HVAC/plumbing design build and project retrofits.
  • Types of projects: mechanical and building automation, service retrofits, design build retrofits, and energy savings projects.
  • Enervise has multiple branch sales reps who sell service contracts and will team with you to generate qualified project sales leads.
  • Qualified internal sales leads provided from Enervise’s extensive recurring maintenance service agreement base - focused on industrial, education, healthcare, and commercial office markets.
  • You will be expected to generate additional qualified leads from outside our maintenance base through your personal networking and business development efforts.
  • Territory – your primary focus would be Central Ohio and Zanesville.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales leadership and innovative mechanical retrofit and design build solutions and foster relationships with our long-term clients to enhance their building thermal comfort, IAQ, and energy savings.
  • Be the “design and engineering resource” for our business development sales team and service technicians.
  • Source professional engineering for design, engineering, and energy savings calculations and audits for all projects.
  • Develop relationships with quality subcontractors in each trade.
  • Ensure that Enervise evolves as a leader in providing high performance building retrofit solutions.
  • Qualify and close project sales.
  • Meet annual personal sales goals.
  • Prospect the Enervise maintenance base and network outside the client base for referrals to develop qualified leads for retrofits, building automation upgrades, and design build projects.
  • Qualify new prospects, develop project scope, design, preliminary engineering, or specify project engineering of mechanical, controls, and energy solutions performed by engineering partners, estimating, proposal generation and presentation, and closing project contracts at qualified margins.
  • Develop and work through consulting engineering firms to prepare HVAC design-build plans, load calculations, equipment and system sizing, write equipment specifications, and outsource design CAD drawings for commercial/industrial applications.
  • Coordinate with Enervise project management and delivery team.
  • Ensure a quality turnover with project management and field supervisors and provide after sales support through to successful job completion that the project meets scope definition, projected gross margins, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure that proper subcontractor and material and equipment provider contracts are made to manage project risk.
