Job summary

IES is seeking an HVAC Project Manager in Houston to lead complex projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance. You will coordinate with customers, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams to align labor, materials, schedules, and documentation with project requirements.

You will review plans, monitor progress and costs, manage procurement, and drive quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and installation experience.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership and multitasking in construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PM software.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, labor plans, material requirements, and project timelines.
• Coordinate HVAC installation activities with field teams, subcontractors, builders, customers, and other trades.
• Review HVAC plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, equipment schedules, and project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor project progress, labor productivity, material usage, costs, and overall performance to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate purchasing, delivery, and availability of HVAC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct project meetings and communicate project status, scheduling needs, risks, and expectations to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, schedules, inspection records, and progress reports.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, installation concerns, delays, equipment issues, and other project risks.
