Job Title: HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary: EMCOR Services Combustioneer has an immediate opening for a HVAC Project Manager in Lanham, Maryland. This position is responsible for the daily operations of designated construction projects; from initial planning to completion, under the contract. Oversees the contract budget; supervises project personnel, new construction, remodeling, repairs, maintenance, and systematic inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the successful completion of all aspects of the project/contract.
2. Prepare financial forecasts and updates, manage safety and contractual compliance.
3. Oversee daily operations and scheduled milestones.
4. Control operational expenses and ensure efficient project operation.
5. Provide direction and supervision to staff.
6. Supervise negotiations and bids for subcontracts and suppliers.
7. Plan and delegate project assignments; determine priorities.
8. Coordinate procurement and maintain inventory control.
9. Maintain liaison with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
10. Maintain records, files, controls, and procedures.
11. Develop employee training sessions.
12. Maintain a strong safety program.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of construction project management experience, with 10+ years in HVAC, DDC systems maintenance, repairs, and installation.
• Knowledge of proposals, scopes of work, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
• Proficiency in Windows & MS Office.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with contracting procedures.
• Capacity to plan, organize, and control all project aspects.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles.

Physical Demands: Ability to walk throughout construction sites, climb stairs, and walk on catwalks.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $125,000 annually
