Job summary

METCO Engineering Inc. in Houston seeks an HVAC Foreman to lead on-site installation, modification, maintenance, and startup activities for commercial projects.

You will supervise crews of 3–12 technicians, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with contractors and engineers.

Experience reading blueprints and directing HVAC systems installation in the Houston market is preferred; strong safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Direct on-site supervision of HVAC technicians, installers, apprentices and laborers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and project codes.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to HVAC crew (3–12 members).
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to crew members.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and safety adherence; lead toolbox talks and site risk assessments.
