Job summary

IES Residential Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an experienced HVAC Project Manager to safeguard project safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance from kickoff to closeout.

You will coordinate with customers, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery of HVAC installations. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of PM experience in construction or related fields, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and PM software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience preferred.
• Construction, residential services, or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, labor plans, material requirements, and project timelines.
• Coordinate HVAC installation activities with field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, builders, customers, and other trades.
• Review HVAC plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, equipment schedules, and project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor progress, labor productivity, material usage, costs, and overall performance to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate purchasing, delivery, and availability of HVAC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct project meetings and communicate status, scheduling needs, risks, and expectations to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, installation concerns, delays, equipment issues, and other project risks.
• Ensure HVAC work complies with plans, codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, start-up, punch-list, warranty, and closeout.
• Support project billing, invoicing, forecasting, cost reporting, and other financial activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, builders, subcontractors, vendors, and teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
