Job summary

Daikin Applied in Orlando, FL is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the full scope of HVAC project work from quoting to closeout. You will serve as the liaison between the customer, sales team and equipment factories, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring timely delivery.

You will create professional submittals, forecast project timelines, analyze change requests, and oversee the financials from job costing to invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of project engineering experience (preferred).
• 0-2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall customer satisfaction by ensuring the complete scope of work purchased by the customer is accurately communicated, ordered and delivered in full.
• Serve as liaison between customer, sales team and equipment factories to troubleshoot and address issues.
• Analyze customer and engineering requests for changes to the initial project scope and implement changes.
• Manage project financials from job costing through customer invoicing.
• Create professional, technical submittal documents for submission to the customer.
• Monitor submittal approval to minimize impact on schedule.
