Daikin Applied Americas Inc. seeks a Project Engineer in Orlando, FL, to manage customer expectations, coordinate between sales, engineering and manufacturing, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.

The role emphasizes technical collaboration, accurate submittals, and ongoing communication to support post-sale activities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 0–2 years experience (3+ preferred), and a background in commercial HVAC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
0-2 years of prior related experience.
3+ years of project engineering experience (preferred).
Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred.
Experience in equipment selection for customers preferred.
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Visio a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure complete scope of work is communicated, ordered and delivered in full.
Serve as liaison between customer, sales team and factories to troubleshoot issues.
Determine project timelines, scheduling and required ship dates.
Analyze changes to project scope and implement them.
Manage project financials from costing to invoicing.
