Job summary

Emerald Aire, Inc. in Auburn, WA is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer to manage projects from design through execution and close-out. The role involves coordinating with the design team, field staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure installations meet schedule and quality goals.

You will review submittals, process RFIs, assemble O&M manuals, and help keep documentation organized. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible 8-hour block between 5:00am–4:00pm; salary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong communication with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Honesty, integrity, reliability.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Creative problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of construction and HVAC concepts.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project from design through execution and close-out.
• Provide office support to field to maximize installation efficiency.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and drawing compliance.
• Process submittals and track schedule needs.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads.
• Review RFIs: write, log, submit and track.
• Understand design change scope.
• File project documentation.
• Attend monthly job site visits to ensure on-track.
