Job summary

Emerald Aire, Inc., Auburn WA, is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer to oversee projects from design through closeout. The role includes coordination with the field, customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient installation and on-time delivery.

Workweek is Monday–Friday with flexible hours between 5:00am–4:00pm. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and life insurance, HSA, 401K with profit sharing, PTO, holidays, and company-provided devices.

Qualifications

• Construction Management or Engineer Degree is a plus, but not required.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
• Honesty, integrity, reliability. Someone that does what they say they are going to do.
• Great communication skills with customers, suppliers, and other team members.

• The ability to prioritize and multitask.

• Great organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of the construction industry and familiar with basic HVAC related concepts.

Responsibilities

• Involved with all facets of the project, from up front coordination during the design process through execution and close out
• A large portion of the position involves office related support to our Field in order to make the installation as efficient as possible
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
• Processes submittals and keep project team apprised of schedule needs.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads through the duration of the project.
• RFI's: review, write, log, submit and track.
• Understand scope of design change documents.
• File project documentation.
• Understand schedule needs of the project and communicate such with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assemble O&M manuals.
• Job site visits to ensure projects are on track, about 1 time per month
