Job summary

Emerald Aire, Inc. in Auburn, WA is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer to manage projects from design through execution and close-out. The role involves coordinating with the design team, field staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure installations meet schedule and quality goals.

You will review submittals, process RFIs, assemble O&M manuals, and help keep documentation organized. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible 8-hour block between 5:00am–4:00pm; salary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong communication with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Honesty, integrity, reliability.

• Basic understanding of construction and HVAC concepts.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project from design through execution and close-out.

• Collaborate with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads.

Job description

HVAC Project Engineer | $60,000 - $75,000 Salary, depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Work Hours: Flexible, 8-hour block of time between 5:00am - 4:00pm

Job Duties:

• Involved with all facets of the project, from up front coordination during the design process through execution and close out
• A large portion of the position involves office related support to our Field in order to make the installation as efficient as possible
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
• Processes submittals and keep project team apprised of schedule needs.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads through the duration of the project.
• RFI's: review, write, log, submit and track.
• Understand scope of design change documents.
• File project documentation.
• Understand schedule needs of the project and communicate such with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assemble O&M manuals.
• Job site visits to ensure projects are on track, about 1 time per month
